Have you ever had a friend or co-worker or someone just know in a moment what you needed or what you needed to hear and then they give you that wink like, I've got you?
God does that too and it's just the best when it comes from Him. Here is a recent time in my life where He gave me that wink.
It was my husbands birthday and I needed butter for several things for his birthday dinner and cake but we were completely out. I placed an online grocery order and ordered 2 things of butter. About an hour before my order was to be ready for pick up I received an email saying that they were out of the butter that I ordered. Ugh. So now I was going to either have to run into a different store or have my husband stop somewhere on his way home from work...either way it put me behind on all the things I needed to do.
I piled all the kiddos into the vehicle and we headed to the store to pick up the rest of my order when I got the message that it was ready. We had picked up groceries at several other stores and this store was our last stop. I didn't think to check things as it was loaded but trusted I was getting my order. (I've never had a problem with this store in the 3 years I've been using their online grocery ordering option.) We got home and the the kids helped me bring everything into the house and I immediately noticed that most of what I was given from this last store was not what I ordered. Ugh!
I immediately started calling the store...as I was calling them, they were calling me! We chatted and they asked if I could bring the wrong order (it was probably 10 or 12 items) back to the store and then they would give me my order, which they still had. I was slightly annoyed to say the least. Annoyed that I would have to lug the wrong order back out to my vehicle and load the kids all back up and drive back to the store...I had a million other things I needed to get done. But what was my other option...not get my order at all?
So, I did what I didn't want to do...I lugged the wrong order back out to my vehicle and after feeding my kids lunch and getting the toddler her nap we drove back to the store. I parked and called the store. Within a few minutes they were bringing my actual order out to me. The worker that began loading my items saw the bags with the wrong order and said, "You can keep those items if you want." I said, "Okay, sure!" Because you know what 2 of the items were?

Butter! The only two items that I really needed and wasn't going to get from my actual order were in the wrong order that was given to me by mistake but I was told I could keep! How awesome was that! There was also several other items that we would use...including 3 packages of cookies that the boys loved!
As soon as the worker said we could keep the wrong order I felt like God was looking down and giving me a wink...like He was saying, "I've got you girl!" It was a trivial need but God knows everything that we need and everything that we want and He wants to provide if our hands and eyes are open to Him.
